Never Just 1000 Words

I've always hated "a picture is work a thousand words". Guess what? Sometimes one is worth just that - one word. My purpose is to defy the notion that all photographs should tell a story. We have our own ideas, and with one word, everyone can create their own story.

Every week, I hope to give you a photograph and allow you to create your own story. It can be a six word sentence. It can be a six page stream of consciousness. It is totally up to you. You can then email me what you've come up with and I'll randomly choose one to be published, with your permission, of course. At the end of the week, I will supply my own story relating to the photo, giving you the chance to be unswayed.

In between the photo, my story, and the viewer's story, I'll be giving you little snippets of my other writing and tales of my forays in the photography world.

Please, go forth and create!!!
